A diagnosis of complex posttraumatic stress disorder (CPTSD) was included in the 11th revision of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11; World Health Organization, 2018). This ESTSS information booklet is aimed at psychotraumatology practitioners and outlines the definition of CPTSD (ICD-11 vs DSM-5), prevalence, assessment, differential diagnosis, CPTSD in children and young people, and treatment.
