Diversity in the workplace – Members with childhood in war zone

A portion of the uniform members come from various nationalities. Some grew up in war torned countries. They have entered the country as immigrant or refugee and have become full citizen of our countries. It is a necessity to represent these social changes in the workplace. But do workplaces recognize their own vulnerability in dealing with members who have experienced war trauma in their childhood? Are they ticking bombs? What is the workplace doing to diffuse any potential trauma to resurface?
