Invitation to the General Membership Meeting of ESTSS
We would like to invite all ESTSS members to participate in the General Membership Meeting at the 14th Conference of ESTSS in Vilnius. At thiş meeting, the reports of the president, treasurer, and secretary along with other information concerning changes in the Society will be presented to all members and presidents of the member and affiliate societies.
In this meeting, a Board proposal for major change of the Society statutes will be presented for approval by the general membership which is intended to initiate important changes in the governance of the Society to facilitate the representance of the member societies of ESTSS in the Board.
As an exceptional situation for this time, an extention of the term of the current Board, the Executive Committee, and the President till 31 December 2015 will be proposed to complete the transition after the eventual amendmend in the Society statutes.
The proposal of the new ESTSS statutes and the proposal for a one time extension of the term of the ESTSS board will be published at the ESTSS website starting 5 days before the general membership meeting at the latest.
