ESTSS's flagship journal the European Journal of Psychotraumatology has again flourished past year with regard to societal and scientific impact. This is reflected by the recent 2021 journal metrics such as the recently released Clarivate Analytics Impact Factor which is 5.783, and with that the journal falls in the highest segment (Q1).
Equally important, however, is that the journal is being appreciated around the world with a record number of downloads, and present on social media and news articles.
Another major achievement is its indexing in Medline, reflecting its scientific quality and international status as well as recognizing that EJPT is also covering the medical and neuroscience aspects of trauma and its consequences.
ESTSS is grateful to the trust authors place in the journal, to the excellent team of editors, and to all reviewers for the journal who make it possible to have a timely decision on the manuscript.
