We are happy to announce the 1st ESTSS Young Minds Summer School, September 26-30, 2016, in Tbilisi, Georgia. Host society will be our Georgian member society represented by Jana Javakhishvili and Nino Makhashvili.
Each ESTSS Member Society is invited to nominate one BA-, MA-, or PhD-student as participant to work together with eight local students. This group of 20 European participants will work continuously for five days with six teachers:

Prof. Lutz Wittmann, Berlin, Germany
Dr. Mirjam Nijdam, Amsterdam, Holland
Prof. Jana Javakhishvili, Tbilisi, Georgia
Prof. Nino Makhashvili, Tbilisi, Georgia.
The program will focus on intensive work on individual current or planned research projects of the participants, complemented by presentations of the teachers. Participants need to submit their application together with a detailed summary of the research project and to prepare a project presentation of 30 min for the Summer School.
For participants from high-income countries, participation fee is EUR 300,-, for participants from lowincome countries EUR 150,-. Free accommodation will be provided by local students.
For the afternoon of September 28, a joined excursion to ancient capital of Georgia, Mtskheta, is planned.
