We are proud to share that one of our esteemed Board members has been recognised with the 2026 French–German Prize for Human Rights and the Rule of Law, one of the most respected international honours for contributions to human rights. The award, jointly presented by the foreign ministries of France and Germany on International Human Rights Day (10 December 2025), celebrates individuals and organisations around the world who demonstrate exceptional courage and commitment to protecting human dignity, freedom, and justice.

This year’s prize highlighted the work of 14 laureates from diverse regions, including Ms Lela Tsiskarishvili of Georgia — our Board member — whose leadership and advocacy have advanced fundamental rights and the rule of law.
ESTSS warmly congratulates our Board member on this well-deserved recognition, which reflects not only individual achievement but the values we share as a Society committed to ethical engagement, human rights, and evidence-based practice.
